問題

客戶想要購買同等於Aminex HPX-87H 7.8x300mm的管柱，

詢問shodex SH1011是否可以達到需求以及提供葡萄糖、木糖、果糖和蔗糖分析圖譜。

Shodex原廠回應：

以規格上來說SH1011相當於Aminex HPX-87H。

但是，SH1011無法分離這4種醣類。

原因如下 :

使用SH1011分析時如果在高溫的環境下，

將使得棉子糖（Raffinose）被水解，

4種醣類中的蔗糖也會有這樣的情況。

如果客戶想要分離這4種醣類，可以使用SC1011進行分析。

有時候原廠提供不同廠牌的對照表格中

雖然管柱的填充內容差不多但還是需要跟原廠確認

才不會發生同規格卻無法分析的後果。

The customer wants to buy the equivalent columns SH1011 instead of Aminex HPX-87H 7.8x300mm.

Please provide its application chromatogram for Glucose, Xylose, Fructose and Sucrose.

Answer

SH1011 is equivalent to Aminex HPX-87H.

However, it is impossible to separate these 4 saccharides.

Since sucrose can be easily hydrolyzed by acids, it should be analyzed at ordinary temperature.

This is the effects of temperature of Raffinose using SH1011.

The situation is the same for sucrose.

Why does the customer want to use the equivalent column of Aminex HPX-87H?

If the customer wants to separate these 4 saccharides, it is possible to use SC1011 for this analysis.

Please refer to the attached file.

The separation is not good using SH1011.

If the customer uses SH1011 at high temperature, sucrose can be easily hydrolyzed by acids.

So, it is possible to use SC1011 for this analysis.

Please confirm to the customer why does they want to use the equivalent column of Aminex HPX-87H.

Then, please introduce analysis condition of attached file and recommend SC1011 for this analysis.
